The PCS-9830 point-on-wave controller is a three-phase control device for circuit breakers (CBs) to open or close at the specified phase angle on voltage waveform to minimize the impulse caused by switching. The controlled switching technology significantly eliminates harmful electrical transients upon planned switching, and thereby extending CB's service life and improving the stability of entire power system.
