The RCS-9661 is a transformer auxiliary relay, which provides mechanical protection and relay paralleling or switchover functions (optional). The signals of mechanical protection can be configured from non-electrical quantities, such as gas signal, oil over-temperature signal, winding over-temperature signal, pressure signal and oil level signal etc.

  • Mechanical protection. (26: oil and winding temperature; 63: gas, pressure; 71: oil level; etc)

  • On the premise of 24 samples per cycle, all data measurement, calculation and logic discrimination can be done within one sampling period. The event recording and protection logic calculation are completed simultaneously.
  • Power supply of mechanical quantity input circuit is monitored.
  • Mechanical protection and other auxiliary relay circuit are independent to each other.
  • The relay provides GPS clock synchronization, including message, second pulse and IRIG-B synchronization.
  • The relay is equipped with two EIA RS-485 standardized interfaces and two Ethernet interfaces. The Ethernet interfaces are optional: electrical or optical.
  • The relay is compatible with IEC 61850 protocol and IEC 60870-5-103 protocol.
  • Fault and disturbance recording function: 64 latest tripping records, 6 latest fault wave (up to 15s), 64 latest equipment self-check alarm records, 64 latest alarm records of equipment operating abnormality, 64 user operating records and 256 records of time-tagged sequence of event can be recorded.
