NARI Signs Contract for Lamu Substation and Power Transmission EPC Project in Kenya

On December 5, 2016, NARI signed Lamu Substation and Power Transmission EPC Project with Kenya Electricity Transmission Co., Ltd. (KETRACO).

In 2013, the government of Kenya put forward the long-term electric power development plan of increasing the installed capacity of electric power of 5,000MW within 5 years and reaching the total installed capacity of 23,000MW in 2030 and accordingly carried out the supporting power grid construction. Lamu Substation and Power Transmission EPC Project is an important component of this plan. KETRACO is the main planning and construction organization of power transmission network of Kenya.The signing of Lamu Substation and Power Transmission EPC Project embodies the Employer’s full affirmation to the Employer’s early implementation performance of Kenya project and its great acceptance to NARI’s comprehensive strength.

NARI will spare no pains to make the project implementation works with the guaranteed quality and quantity, forge Lamu Substation and Power Transmission EPC Project to the benchmarking project of Chinese enterprises in Kenya and drive the power technology and self-produced equipment of China to go aboard.
