Project 8901,EPC project of new substations in Thailand has been completed successfully

On February 24, 2018, the 115kV Prachachuen substation in Thailand, built by Nari Group, was put into operation and formally transferred to the owner – Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA), which was completed 4 days ahead of the time fixed in the conditions of contract. It marks the completion of the project 8901 ahead of time. The speed of completion and the quality of the project was beyond the expectation of the MEA, and received the praises from MEA.

Project 8901 includes the Petchkasem station and the Prachachuen station,this is the first EPC project of new substations in Thailand by Nari Group. The contract was signed in 2015. Petchkasem station was put into operation properly in Dec,2017. Nari Group was responsible of the exploration and design, civil construction, equipment integration, installation and commissioning and putting into operation for the whole project. PS station and PC station are located in Bangkok, Thailand. After its successful operation, the pressure of power supply will be effectively relieved, and the safety factor of power grid and reliability of power supply will be greatly enhanced.

At present, Nari group has retrofited and built 91 substation projects in Thailand. In 2017, the engineering company of Thailand was set up to serve the power market better in Thailand. While providing solid support of power supply for Thailand, Nari group has promoted the development of the local power industry as well as the local economy.
